As I travel around the Sixth Congressional District, the message is clear: Central Kentuckians are ready for a new kind of leadership in Washington. They want a Congressman who will be a check and balance to the party in power. They want leadership that will stop the out of control spending, prevent a government takeover of our healthcare system, and protect Kentucky jobs. Most of all, they want a representative who is responsive to their concerns and shares their values.

As someone who was born and raised in Central Kentucky, I am convinced there is no better place to live, work and raise a family. From our dynamic urban core, through our beautiful horse farms, to our tight-knit hometowns, our quality of life is second to none. But because of the policies coming out of Washington, this way of life faces an uncertain future.
