Andy Barr Announces District-Wide Tour

LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY –  Today, Andy Barr, Republican candidate for US Congress, announced that he will visit every county in Kentucky’s Sixth District prior to the May 18th primary.  The tour will begin Monday, May 10th and lead into the campaign’s 72-hour get-out-the-vote effort.

“My campaign has already visited every county in the district multiple times, but I wanted to visit each one again as people are most focused on the primary,” said Andy Barr.  “It is my priority to be accessible as a candidate and, if elected, as a Congressman.  I encourage all voters who have questions about me, my platform or my beliefs to come meet me at one of my stops.”

The general schedule of the tour is as follows:

MONDAY, MAY 10 – Woodford, Franklin and Anderson counties

TUESDAY, MAY 11 – Montgomery, Bourbon and Scott counties

WEDNESDAY, MAY 12 – Powell and Estill counties

THURSDAY, MAY 13 – Lincoln, Garrard, Boyle and Mercer counties

FRIDAY, MAY 14 – Madison and Clark counties

SATURDAY, MAY 15 – Jessamine and Fayette counties

In each county, Andy will tour local businesses, restaurants and shops.  Each stop will include opportunities for individuals to come and meet the candidate.
