Barr endorsed by Kentucky State Fraternal Order of Police

LEXINGTON, KY - The Kentucky State Fraternal Order of Police (KY FOP) endorsed Andy Barr today in the race for the Sixth District Congressional seat. The KY FOP chose Barr over incumbent Democrat Ben Chandler.
Bluegrass Lodge #4 President Mike Sweeney said that Barr will be an excellent advocate for law enforcement in Congress. "I am confident that Andy Barr will be a powerful voice on behalf of law enforcement in Washington. Andy was the only candidate in the race who took the time to fill out our questionnaire and met with our membership. He is going to be a Congressman who will be accessible and will always listen to our concerns."
Barr said he was honored to earn the KY FOP's endorsement. "Kentucky law enforcement officers and first responders put their lives on the line every day to protect the people of this Commonwealth. I am proud to have their support. This is yet another sign of the momentum of our campaign."
