I am excited to share some breaking news with your regarding Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District. Since I launched my Exploratory Committee last week, Charlie Cook, a respected political reporter and editor of the Cook Political Report, has downgraded Ben Chandler’s re-election status. Charlie Cook publishes a series of campaign ratings for each Congressional District. These ratings take many factors in to consideration but ultimately they give insight in to whether an incumbent is vulnerable.
Since launching my Exploratory Committee, Charlie Cook has downgraded Ben Chandler’s re-election status and has said he is no longer a safe incumbent. This shows the momentum that is beginning to build for our campaign.
